A Theatre Arts Company for All to Enjoy
Legally Blonde Jr.
July 30th & 31st
Venue: The Centre Theater in Norristown
Legally Blonde Jr.
Based on the award-winning Broadway musical and the smash hit motion picture, Legally Blonde the Musical JR. is a fabulously fun journey of self-empowerment and expanding horizons. The show's instantly recognizable songs are filled with humor, wit and sass — leaving cast members and audiences alike seeing pink!
Legally Blonde JR. follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes, snobbery and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. When Elle's boyfriend, Warner, dumps her and heads to Harvard, claiming she's not "serious" enough, Elle takes matters into her own hands, crafting a showy song-and-dance personal essay and charming her way into law school. Befriending classmate, Emmett, and spunky hairdresser, Paulette, along the way, Elle finds that books and looks aren't mutually exclusive. As Elle begins outsmarting her peers, she realizes that law may be her natural calling after all.
Legally Blonde JR. features large, energetic dance numbers with an expandable cast of sorority sisters, law school students, hairdressers and more.
Performances are held at The Centre Theater in Norristown. Street parking and Septa parking garage available for audiences.
Measure for Measure
By William Shakespeare
August 20th-23rd
Venue: The Centre Theater in Norristown
Measure for Measure
By William Shakespeare
Amongst the raucous and rambunctious celebrations of Y2K in seedy Vienna, Austria, Duke Vincentio has turned to his devout deputy, Angelo, to lead in the good Duke’s absence. In an effort to regain control of a city slipping more and more to disorder, Angelo sentences a young man to death in a bold and perhaps overreaching display of power. The young man’s sister begs for her brother’s life to the hardened Angelo and is met with a horrifying truth: in this world, failure means losing every value you hold dear. How far would you go to save someone you love?
Traversing the thin line between power and corruption, Sine Timore’s Measure for Measure is a timely piece that is not to be missed.
Recommended for ages 13+ due to mature themes.
Performances are held at The Centre Theater in Norristown. Street parking and Septa parking garage available for audiences.
